INFECTION CONTROL PROTOCOLS

Here you will find our updated infection control protocols and what we’re doing here at our office for your safety and peace of mind. If you have any concerns, please feel free to call our office and we will answer any questions you may have.

COVID-19 INFECTION CONTROL PROTOCOLS: Features

Clutter has been removed from our waiting room and we will limit the number of people to ensure social distancing measures.

Air purification units have been installed throughout our practice in each treatment room. These contain the highest HEPA filtration available to ensure the highest attainable air quality in our office.

Hand sanitizer will be available in all areas of the office for your safety.

We offer no-contact payment options, such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and NFC payments, and are looking into other contact free payment methods to ensure your safety.

High risk, immunocompromised, or elderly patients will have priority for first appointments of the day, or other times where we can minimize the amount of patient traffic.

Patients will call our office upon arrival to the parking lot, and we will do our very best to have our patients "DOCTOR READY". If there is an unexpected delay, we will ask that you wait in your car until we have recreated a safe environment for your visit.

We will make every effort to escort you directly to the treatment room so as to limit your wait time in your car or reception.

Reception areas will be wiped down with the same protocol as our treatment rooms, to ensure your safety in all areas of our office.

Temperature checks for all employees will be taken daily, and they will be asked to stay home if they (or any direct family member) is displaying signs of respiratory infection or fever.

Patients will be screened prior to their appointment as well as upon arrival to their appointment. Patient temperature will be taken as well.

Staff is required to use proper use of PPE; including masks, gloves, face shields, and gowns/jackets.

Dry shields will be used whenever possible to aid in the reduction of aerosol production.

Social distancing will be enforced in all areas of our office, including waiting room and check-out area. Because of this, we are limiting one person in the treatment room, when appropriate.

Any person entering our office must abide by mandatory face mask order and use a face covering. If you do not have one, one will be provided for you.

Patients will be briefed and guided through a disinfection process, including hand washing, rinsing with an appropriate mouthwash, and a mask, if needed.

Hand washing before and after treatment is required by both the patient and staff.
